Confliction is a complex emotion. Two parts of your mind arguing with one-another, one half maybe dominant, maybe both are equal. In this case, one half is screaming with enough volume to shred one’s vocal cords and the other is whimpering and cowering like a stray dog.
All because one small, hate-filled desk fan met an alarmingly kind bubble, with a delicate film of soap.

Meanwhile, Hakoda, who was already barely holding it together with three chaotic kids on board and a VERY bothersome best friend, somehow ended up with a fifth after a messy rescue. (Spoiler: this new one was just as annoying as the others.)

Their breaths swirl, steamy with water vapor. You can see your breath in the Nether, but it leaves you in a warm gas instead of a frosty chill. As Martyn eases Pearl’s hair behind her hood, his legs begin to shake. The shield hanging from his left wrist bonks against his knees.
He pokes Pearl’s hair into her hood, folding the cloth around it. He sort of tucks it beneath the neck of her armor. “Is that okay?”
“That’s fine.”
Martyn and Pearl spend 9 long days trekking the server in search of their soulmates. They even duck inside the Nether. The inability to sleep down there does not remove their exhaustion… or the longing for safety, rest, and maybe cuddles.
