Jazz had never expected for one of his cousins and bonded to pass away one cold evening, leaving behind a pair of splitspark twins. He knew of them, had met them once or twice, but when the rest of his family began to pass them over and over again, he knew he need to step in.
The only problem is that his work is only willing to wait for so long. He needs to go back. He works weird hours.
He needs a babysitter.
Prowl hated that running was the only option he had. He needed to get away, but with his certifications to become an enforcers around the corner, he thought he could hold on. When push comes to shove, he knows he needs to start over. He has no credentials, his Academy credits won't transfer, and his skillset is incredibly limited.
He needs a job.

Megatron had heard the rumors regarding Starscream’s apparent libertine prowess before. Whispers of the seeker’s supposed talents in berth; how his silver tongue had more than one use, how his seeker-grace had gifted him with impossible flexibility, how he could have even the most stoic of mechs charmed and writhing underneath him in less than five klicks—the list went on and on.
But naturally, Megatron paid them no heed. After all, they were just rumors.

“Alright, alright!” Orion held up his servos in defeat, the corners of his derma curved upwards nervously. “They were doing this thing with their intakes, it was a little… weird.”
“Their intakes?” D-16 was confused. “Were they fueling?” He'd thought the only thing you could do with intakes was consume energon and speak with a vocalizer. He guessed they were used for expressions, too, but D-16 failed to understand what else an intake could be used for.
“That's what I thought! But they didn't have any energon with them.” Orion thought for a moment. “It was more like… smashing their derma together.”
“What.”

A stupid AU treated fairly seriously, where Orion and D-16 stumble upon the concepts of interfacing and love, which apparently nearly no one else had discovered. What could go wrong?
