'We recommend that you begin to get your affairs in order.'
Remus nods once, slowly. His eyes drift back toward the window.
'It’s all already sorted. The funeral arrangements,' he says. 'I’ve always been told it might end this way.'
There’s something in the way he says it that softens the doctor’s face.
'Then take the time, Remus,' the doctor says gently. 'Say goodbye to the people you love. Do the things you want to do. Get closure. For yourself, and… for the ones you’ll be leaving behind.’
Remus doesn’t answer.
