Summary
Time travel is a fickle thing. The Avengers accidently let Loki escape in one of the timelines though they leave that for the native Avengers to deal with. With the tesseract in hand, Loki makes and impulse request and finds himself in front of a Pet Shop. Having no where else to go, he hides among the Midgardian creatures. He never expected this path to end with him learning what he had been missing about the word 'Family.'
Peter Parker was allowed to pick one animal to take home as a new friend. Out of all the animals, it was the pitch black, green eyed snake that caught his eye. Imagine his amazement when he got home to find out it could talk.

“Honey, why is your arm in the dishwasher?” he asked, getting right to the point.
Grey eyes widened slightly, and he leaned around Steve to look at the open dishwasher, black and gold prosthetic sitting amongst their plates and cutlery.
“There it is!” he exclaimed, so obviously pretending to be surprised that it took everything in Steve not to crack into a grin. Bucky would only lie if he was trying to hide some other misbehaviour, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it.

Summary
Peter Parker's known for his entire life that things just don't work out for him. Not with an Uncle prone to violence and his apartment on the wrong side of run-down. He's made peace with that, used Spider-Man as an outlet for the hunger and bruises.
But then Tony Stark shows up, dressed in an expensive suit and carrying an internship opportunity. Peter can balance that on top of everything. He can keep a secret, he knows he can. And keeping this from Tony Stark won't be much different. Won't it?

That’s when another voice is added to the mix and Peter’s pulse spikes a second time. “Oh, thank God, you found her,” a person, who looks and sounds suspiciously like Tony Stark, says. Peter looks back over at the woman and – yeah okay, that is definitely Pepper Potts.
Oh God, Peter just tried to explain a science pun to Tony Stark’s daughter.
Morgan rolls her eyes, finally letting go of his hand in favour of being picked up by her father. “No, daddy, I found him,” she says and gives Mr. Stark a meaningful look. Peter just isn’t sure what said meaning is supposed to be.Or: 5 reasons not to adopt Peter Parker + 5 times his attempts to fix them were never necessary in the first place

“Your parents have been grooming you to take over the company, correct? You’ve been working closely alongside them, alongside their best scientists and technicians. I’m sure you’ve learned a fair deal. We could use that expertise at Stark Industries.”
“Essentially,” Parker says, “you want to pay me to reveal my parents’ company secrets.”
“Yes,” Tony says, cheerfully. “Thank you for catching on so quickly.”

Tony’s week just turned a lot more promising: Rich kid Peter Parker has apparently dropped out of college and provoked the ire of his parents. A delicious scandal for the tabloids. And an opportunity too good to waste, even if it means putting up with a snooty, preppy college kid as his new intern.- Language:

Luca got sucked in by peer pressure and engaged in some somewhat typical teenage rebellion and was brought home to Shane and Ilya, in the middle of the night, by a cop. Something Shane, for one, wasn’t too impressed by.
Takes place in the same AU and is part of the same series as “If You Put Your Paws On My Brother You’ll Meet The Jaws Of His Brother” this makes more sense if you have that context, but can definitely stand alone.
