Following a raid, the HYDRA central base was destroyed, and there they found someone working in the laboratory. Since the young man did not fight back, he was taken into custody, and by Nick Fury’s order, he was to remain at Avengers Tower for a while.Because they refused to believe that HYDRA would be involved with a child, they assumed the traitor—who looked far too small—was simply suffering from a hormonal disorder, and they locked him in a room.
When they accessed the prisoner’s classified file and realized that they were actually holding a child, what would they do?

Peter always knew he was the odd one out in his family. It wasn't like he didn't try, he did try to be apart of the family just when he was younger and it never worked. He was never able to connect with anyone, at least not the way Harley connected with their dad, or the way Morgan had everyone wrapped around her little finger since the day she was born.
Peter was just there, in a way he believed that he wasn't important, not to his family anyway. That was what he always believed, at least before he got his powers and became the one and only Spider-man.
Maybe there was a reason why he was always the odd one out after all.

Summary
Imaginary friends are very common in her age group and perfectly acceptable for her development. Likely a reflection of her coming to term with May Parker death after only being in her life for a year and a half after being dead her whole life and her father’s coma. Death is difficult for all children to understand, never-mind in these circumstances. That’s what the psychologist says. That doesn’t stop them from being concerned. That there is more to the people in her drawings then just stories. And then the children of the wealthy and influential start going missing.

Peter chooses that moment to slam his hands roughly on the table as he exclaims boisterously, “Fuck!”
Harley’s heart stutters as the word filters through his ears. No no this can not be happening to him right now! Dad curses all the time! Harley cannot have this pinned on his record.
Harley puts on his best ‘I’m your older brother and you must listen to me voice’, “Peter you can never ever say that word again. Especially in front of Mom and Dad.”
Peter doesn’t meet his eyes so Harley makes the daring decision to switch methods, “It could be our secret.”
Peter’s eyes dart to Harley’s the moment the word ‘secret’ leaves his lips. Harley deals the final blow by lifting his right hand and extending his pinky in front of his brother’s face, “Pinky promise, bug?”
Peter’s apprehension melts away as a giddiness overtakes him. He wraps his smaller pinky around Harley’s and they both shake them together, sealing the deal.
