Or Hermes brings a delivery for the gods and a certain goddess is embarrassed in front of the entire council. The goddess of wisdom is known for not allowing for mortals to make a mockery of her. However, the god of the seas is possibly more known for not being too kind to those who wish harm against his children. After all, Percy wouldn't be Poseidon's son if he wasn't a bit impertinent.

Summary
Demigod dreams were useful! They gave Percy warnings and insight on what threats were coming up. But more than that, demigod dreams were really annoying. I mean, regular nightmares sucked, but your evil grandpa sending personalized death threats to your sleep was even worse.
Although, sometimes Percy's demigod dreams were even stranger than they were supposed to be - he tended to interrupt conversations he wasn't supposed to (and didn't want to) hear. Case in point; Percy overhearing Kronos bicker with his siblings for the uptempth time.
Or; Hyperion can't decide if he wants to laugh or scream, Krios is adopting Percy, Kronos is amused, and Percy is just really tired

When Grover first caught a whiff of Mr. Jackson’s scent, he knew something was up.
Sure, the man looked normal enough from Grover’s brief glimpse of him through the windshield as Mrs. Jackson’s Toyota Prius trundled up the long driveway. He had sunburnt shoulders and was still wearing a pair of bright yellow bib-and-brace oilskins, like he’d just come back from his job on the fishing trawler.
But once the car got close and Grover caught Mr. Jackson’s scent, all of Grover’s fur stood on end.
Because beyond the sweat, salt, and dead fish he could pick up, there was a strangely synthetic human smell. It was sort of like how Fanta smelt like oranges. Which was to say - and a sharp stab of anxiety wormed its way into Grover’s heart at the thought - Mr. Jackson smelt like he was a fake human. Was Mr. Jackson a monster in disguise?

In a moment of weakness, Poseidon makes a decision. He chooses a decade of a mortal life so he can be with Sally and his son. But when a god, especially one as important and powerful as Poseidon, becomes mortal, there are consequences. (Or that fic where Asclepius is taken instead of the lightning bolt.)

Atlas had heard rumours of course, every creature worth its ichor had. Hearing rumours and seeing in real life where to different things however. The boys’ eyes, a bright gold that seemed to flow like a molten stream, were filled with concealed rage as he looked up Castellan from his position under the sky. Elsewise, his face was a blank mask of calm and contemplation. He was like a predator trapped behind the walls of a flimsy cage, watching its captors for the slightest moment of weakness.

Zoe survives the fight on Mount Tam. Luke does not. But one is left worse than all others.
Percy is left behind, quaking under the weight of the sky, listening to a strange voice trying to keep his spirits up.

Jean Grey was in disbelief. Just a week ago, she was breathing for Peter Parker as he was lying in the hospital bed, unconscious. But now it's late 2015. The time before she met Spider-Man. Before her sister Sara was captured by Damage Control. Before the Avengers defeated Thanos. Before the Snap.
Jean felt a sudden urge to check something. She opened a search engine and typed Peter Parker's name into it.
It showed results. His Instagram page, his Facebook account. A photo of him and his aunt at the entrance ceremony to Midtown High.
Jean understood then that she had returned to a time before the spell.
She looked at the calendar again — it was December of 2015.

What was happening? Hades was a thousand-year-old god. He had seen empires rise and fall. He had seen humans commit acts of heroics and atrocities. He had seen Blockbuster go out of business. Nothing should faze anymore.
And yet… his son was making a valiant attempt at his sanity.
“I have no other explanation for why you have lost your ability to think and reason,” Hades told him shortly. “Are there other obvious things I should forbid while we are on the matter? Should I tell you not to bomb Olympus? Not to die?”
“I’m going to die someday.”
“Leave me,” Hades snapped at him. Unbelievable. Nico took a long intake of breath. “You don’t need to sigh at every little thing,” he added sharply. Nico paused. “Your life is not that taxing.”
“It’s not that-? I’ve been to Tartarus!”
“And what an impression it has made on you given that you are trying to return!”
Who tried to return to Tartarus? His son. That’s who. Maria was going to somehow appear and figure out how to kill a god.
Or
Nico said Hades forbade anyone from going in Tartarus and I just want to know what that conversation looked like.

Hades nodded, looking incredibly out of place as a mass of darkness in the otherwise serene meadow. “He is,” he agreed and then paused, looking at Nico with a sudden suspicion. “Right-?”
“Yes,” Nico interrupted flatly. “Still a boy. Just gay.”
“I was not conflating such things,” Hades muttered. Artemis raised a skeptical brow. “I merely thought I would ask.”
From behind Artemis, Percy gave a satisfied nod as he nudged Thalia. “Nice. We got a woke uncle.” He raised his fist only for Hades to stare. “Alrighty.” He pointed a thumb behind him. “I guess I’ll go-?”
“You better not leave me here,” Nico hissed.
“Bye, Nico!”
“Percy!” he began, a note of worrying desperation leeching into his tone. This was ridiculous. It wasn’t really happening, right? Right? “Tell Will that I’m being kidnapped!”
Thalia waved. “No,” she said, following after Percy.
Nico had never liked her.

Apparently, Nico is what other campers are calling ‘a hot mess’ and ‘severely traumatized’ which has somehow led to his father relegating him to the Hunt. Worry not, it makes no sense to Artemis either.

But as she sat twelve floors below Spider-Man's fading mind, Jean realized no shallow telepathic trickery can stop his heart from hemorrhaging into oblivion. She needed to plunge deeper into his self... to the point they become one and his heart and blood trick themselves into thinking they beat and circle for her...
She told herself she's not invading his mind, just his everything else. She will not dig around for anything. Just here to keep her savior alive... Peter's memories brought themselves to her regardless. And this time she had no choice but to watch as they drift by... And some of them are very embarrassing as well.
