Summary
Fighting the gods of time and space in a realm beyond either concept isn't a sensible idea, generally, and Arceus itself has taken note of the disruptions in its forgotten child's realm, and decided to take direct action to clean up this timeline before the disastrous battle between gods can even begin, taking favoured humans and placing them where they can make a change.
...It probably should have told the humans what it wanted them to do, in retrospect.

Captain Marvel was a pretty strange guy, the League all agreed, with how strange his knowledge base was, not to mention his secret identity not even Batman could get a hold on. But some things don't need a whole explanation for people to care, and the League will keep prying to try to help.
And Billy will have to keep dodging, but maybe- just maybe- he has a way to get out of this without his life falling apart.

Then he died. In his own home, in his own bed.
Only afterwards, now with far more arms and a strange relationship with gravity, did he start panicking.
Not quite alive again and in a place he’s never heard of, Charlie isn’t sure what to make of a world he hadn’t thought of in more than a decade. Really, he’s lucky to be where he is. After all, if he’s never heard of Almia that means nothing bad happens there, right?
