Summary
He killed himself to make it right. It should have ended there.
Instead, Luke came back. Now golden ichor flows in his veins, wings ripping through his mortal flesh to brand him as the very thing he loathes: a god. Though the world calls to him, he remains a caged bird, jealously guarded by a father who had kept him locked away while the whispers of a new war stirred in the dark.
Then, a tentative peace arrives.
The cage cracks open, and Luke's leash extends just enough for him to carry lost children through the dark. But Olympus hasn't forgotten its hatred, and the Light burns with old grudges. Luke is supposed to stick to his duties, but that’s the problem: when a call echoes out from San Francisco, the forbidden West his father repeatedly warned him against, he should have just ignored it.
But since when did Luke ever listen to the gods?
(Or: Luke ascends. It’s lonelier than he expected, worship is unsettling, and the Roman gods are watching—with interest.)

In a depression, an un-aging Harry Potter is volunteered for a job with Gringotts after the war. As Magical Creature Liaison, he journeys where the goblins send him, creating alliances and records of histories long lost with creatures still shunned by Wizarding Britain. Adventure and danger is enough to distract him from the depression that knocks at his mind and haunts his nightmares.
But returning from an assignment, he is greeted by a connection he long thought dead. Apparently, the Black Family has some secrets still lurking.
Forks, Washington wasn't the promise of adventure that he had been expecting but when a young girl gets wrapped up in something too big for herself, Harry's bleeding heart forces him to interject.
Family ties, shifters, vampires, a couple so toxic he doesn't know how one of them hasn't died yet, and a blond soldier with a wicked smirk are shaping to be something Harry can't just let go.

Maybe it's his brother, whose high-profile career and fantastic girlfriend and first-child-on-the-way are steadily leaving Dean in the dust. Pick one. Pick all of them. The why doesn't matter so much as the what, and the what is this: Dean is pretty sure he's going completely, certifiably insane. Sure, he hasn't started wearing all his clothes inside out, and he still showers on a regular basis (anyways, that's not crazy, just a little eccentric); but there's no getting around the fact that he just threw away his life, his career, and his reputation by dragging out his mom's old necromancy book and summoning a Class A Forbidden Entity to his attic. He never intended to solve murders, just as he never intended to get his best friend turned into a Halloween stereotype. Though he doesn't regret it, he would like to blame it on Scott and Jackson for leaving Stiles and Danny unsupervised in a lockable room with alcohol. Honestly, their lives would have been much simpler if they had just stuck to the normal teenage things like making out, instead of hacking the BAU.
