Summary
Everyone knows that the gods have numerous children. Besides being responsible for controlling aspects of the world, that's what they're known for. Demigods are a dime a dozen, and while the gods do care for their children, we all know that they are willing to send them to their deaths for 'the greater good,' or sometimes just for a chance at glory.
But what if demigods... didn't exist?
What if there was a Pantheon that couldn't have children with mortals, only producing stillborns and monsters?
Faced with the threat of It's world's timeline being destroyed due to this cosmic error, Fate itself seeks to intervene. It tears through reality and snatches away a select few demigods to gift to It's Pantheon, erasing and manipulating the memories of It's most vulnerable chosen, as well as rewinding the years on all that It takes, to help with the bonding process.
This choice leaves 9 demigods trapped in an Ancient Greece that not even they can recognize. Stranded, disoriented, and stripped of their claims, they must tread carefully, for the roaming monsters are not the only threat.

She not only has to discover the thief, but learn how to use her gift and come to terms that... what she knew about her father and his side of the family is wrong.
Penny needs to learn that she isn't unwanted...but is more precious than she can ever known.

And everything gets worse.

Summary
Luke is eighteen when someone steals Zeus' Lightning Bolt. Unfortunately, it seems that someone might have been him. Even worse, a sixth grader is getting blamed for the crime (that's definitely, probably, hopefully not his).
Meanwhile, Pelagia just wants to make it through a day of school where someone other than the nice substitute teacher sees her as more than a lost cause.
OR
Luke is assigned instead of Grover or Chiron to make a house call on the potentially very powerful demigod in New York. It's not his fault he and sad kids have a tendency to imprint on each other like ducks and ducklings, so he can't be held accountable for what happens next.

“A drunk neighbour,” Percy replied, doing her damn best to speak intelligibly. “I don’t know him. Asked me out. Knocked. Tried to enter. Hit the door. Left notes. Now he’s away but he always returns.”
“How long?”
“Three hours.”
“Since three a.m.?” Percy didn’t reply, and Luke didn’t demand it from her. She never demanded anything.
Percy listened attentively enough to catch Luke taking a breath at the other end of the line.
“Did you call the police?”
“They came, found nothing, left and now refuse to come again.”
She could hear Luke’s rage through her forced silence. She could sense her shut herself down to keep her rage at bay.
“Useless… trash…” Luke murmured eventually, and that was all that she allowed herself.

I turned to the 4th Cohort, staring each demigod in the eye. "Listen up! We go in fast, we get the prisoners out, and we don’t leave anyone behind. If you're not in, speak now, before we move."The cohort stiffened, but no one backed down. I let the silence hang, watching them all, feeling the weight of responsibility press against my chest.
Annabeth stood at the back, watching closely. But I couldn’t bring myself to meet her gaze, not now. Not when there were so much at stake.
Jason stepped up beside me. “Let’s go.” The words were simple, but they carried everything he needed to say.
Before they could move, a small figure emerged from the shadows wearing a helmet too big for her. Bianca. She looked up at me with fierce eyes. "I’m ready," she said, her voice steady.
My stomach dropped. “Bianca, no. You’re not ready for this. You stay back.”
“I want to fight,” she replied, her voice unwavering. “I’m one of you.”

Penelope opened her other eye. She squinted up at Luke.
“Temper tantrum?” Penelope asked, repeating Luke’s words in a tone of voice that made it very clear she didn’t appreciate the accusation.
“Would you prefer me describing it pitching a fit?”
“I am not pitching a fit,” Penelope growled out.
Luke raised an eyebrow. He didn’t look impressed. “You sound like Annabeth when she’s having a temper tantrum.”
The idea of Annabeth and her sounding alike was laughable. In different circumstances, Penelope would have laughed. Now though? Penelope wasn’t in mood to laugh. She was still mad over last night; for someone who didn’t even care to learn her fucking name, Mr.D sure did care about her trying to leave camp.
“Aren’t I suppose to be screaming if I’m having a temper tantrum?”
Luke shot her a look. “Anger isn’t always loud screaming.”
Know anything about that, Penelope wanted to say but didn’t. She didn’t care. She didn’t want to care about anyone at this camp but Grover; they would just be another reason she would be tempted to not save her mom from underworld. She couldn’t afford that.
