Summary
Dick has worked hard to build a family in the aftermath of tragedy, but Gotham can never let him enjoy peace for long. As Dick, Tim and Barbara work to stop a trafficking ring that has established itself in Gotham. The discoveries they make threaten to destroy everything they have worked so hard to protect.

As he turns the corner he begins to hear the sounds of screaming over the roar of the flames. He doesn’t see anyone at first, but then an arm sticks out through a basement window.
“Help! Please someone help us!” A voice cries out.
Tim rushes forwards, and finds a basement window metal bars installed over, blocking the escape of those trapped inside. The arm touches the metal and a shout of pain follows.
“Batman I’ve got victims trapped in a basement!” Tim reports, as he gets closer to the building. “There appears to be-”
His words cut off into a gasp as he looks into the window, at least a dozen women and children are in the basement.

In Tim’s defense, he hadn’t meant for it to happen. Who knew patrolling alone was such a bad idea? Him. That’s who. But he would vehemently argue his actions were 100% justified and necessary considering the extenuating circumstances. However, that was before his little solo jaunt around Gotham had landed him… well… stuck. With the rest of the bats not in Gotham, it wasn’t like there was anyone around to get him unstuck either.
And he was running out of oxygen, dammit.Thankfully, (or in Tim’s case, ‘concerningly’), there happened to be a Crime Lord on the case who would be absolutely

Joker stepped away for 2 moments and then turned back, his hand forcing more pills into him. His vision was swimming, from all those pills, that electricity, he couldnt name it anymore, but he was sure he knew what it was called once.
"Swallow, boy." Joker said, oddly calm, but the grin stayed.
He gulped it all down hard, nearly chocking on it. his whole body was trembling, and he didnt know if he was even existing anymore. Was this all just a dream, a cruel living, or...hm.
