The silvery water bubbled over the pebbles, as swift yet serene as it had always been, and always would be. Unaffected by the world. Not caring for the fleeting history that humans put such weight on. Whatever happened to him, to his life, to the whole world, the creek would never know anything different. It would never be any different.
Odysseus and Telemachus find themselves in the same spot that Odysseus remembers from his own childhood, a place of sanctuary, a place that doesn't care for who you are or what you've done.

When the kings of Greece come to conscript Odysseus for the Trojan War, Penelope of Ithaca knows one thing: she will not lose her husband to war, and she will not let her son be used to take him. In a desperate attempt to save her family, Penelope offers herself to the war effort in Odysseus's place.
Penelope is whisked away to Troy with her army, and a devastated Odysseus is left to raise his infant son alone. Even when the war ends, their trials do not. Penelope faces gods and monsters while Odysseus struggles to rule Ithaca and protect himself and his son from the malevolent suitors seeking his hand.
Essentially, the plot of EPIC, but Penelope and Odysseus's places are switched, and the Ithaca side of the plot is quite a bit darker.

Ou Polites est un prince de Troie, petit frère d’Hector et oncle d’Astyanax. Odysseus est Odysseus. C’est le dernier acte, Apollon l’oblige à garder Polites et Astyanax en vie. Il les enlève pour les sauver.
Ou Zeus a ignoré le MAIS de la prophétie donc Apollon s’en occupe à sa place.

(Basically this is an AU that Odysseus' mother was a siren, so he’s part siren. This takes place after the cyclops saga/ My goodbye. He has an enchanted necklace that helps him appear human, Without the necklace, he’ll still have legs on land. But in the water he has a fish tail. What he looks like on land: fin for ears, Scales like freckles, Sharp teeth, Claw-like hands, and slit pupils.)

The suitors descend, and Penelope and Telemachus are defending Ithaca once again.
Odysseus returns. And it's a mess.

When Odysseus woke up that morning, he hadn't planned on being kidnapped at all.
After a meeting that had lasted longer than expected—because, after all, no one could get one word in without asking for a drink—he'd left the camp for some air.
It wasn't hard to understand why he felt so trapped in those tents.
If they were cages, then the camp was an illusion of freedom, because no matter how much he walked around, no matter how far away he was, to where the guards held off the Trojan enemies, he still couldn't graze in the fields, find a stream, as he always did with Polites at home, or go picking fruit. He was still limited by his own guards, by the Trojans, by the walls they were getting closer to every day, but always at an exasperating slowness, as if the agreement was one man for every centimeter, and at least ten for the length of a sword. Blood marked to whom land belonged, but after all, it always belonged to death, just like the men who fought on it.
So Odysseus, feeling like a dog trapped and beaten—because if it wasn't war, it was whatever happened at those damned meetings—loitered outside the camp, further and further away.Series

Eurylochus had told him to leave him behind. Eurylochus was stronger than him: Polites couldn't do it. Polites didn't want to go any further, he didn't want to lose anyone.

In Olympia High, there are five big popular groups; the Barbies, the Beauties, the Buffs, the Brains and the Bastards.
Will is the sunny, cheerful jock that everyone loves and crushes on. He's a Beauty by default.
Nico is the new transfer from Italy, and somehow is related to Hazel Levesque, one of other Beauties while he's a Bastard.

Might even do a mini fic on the teachers (cuz they are EPIC: the musical characters except telemachus cuz he's a student) where Odysseus has to get back to the History Building back to his wife for lunch but people keep distracting him. :pp
