Summary
Odysseus starts at Illian High School. His parents are dead, his sister is in college, and all of his friends go to a different school. On top of that, his guardians hate him and tear down his self-esteem. He doesn't want to get close to anyone. He doesn't need more people to care about. He's just a burden anyway. At a party, though, Diomedes finally approaches the smartest kid in school, who doesn't want to get close to anyone. Will he and the Achaeans (what Diomedes dubbed their friend group) uncover what lies beneath Odyssues's carefully curated mask?

Ou Polites est un prince de Troie, petit frère d’Hector et oncle d’Astyanax. Odysseus est Odysseus. C’est le dernier acte, Apollon l’oblige à garder Polites et Astyanax en vie. Il les enlève pour les sauver.
Ou Zeus a ignoré le MAIS de la prophétie donc Apollon s’en occupe à sa place.

(Basically this is an AU that Odysseus' mother was a siren, so he’s part siren. This takes place after the cyclops saga/ My goodbye. He has an enchanted necklace that helps him appear human, Without the necklace, he’ll still have legs on land. But in the water he has a fish tail. Summary
In a world where no Iliad or Odyssey was ever written, the greek gods live their happy imortal life. But as usual the gods get bored sometime, thus every hundred years or so they start a game to "Keep humanity's faith in them". During these games the gods form fractions among themselves with the goal of turning one human who does not beleive in gods into a beleiver.
The year is 2020 our main character is Odysseus of course, he is the head of the Homeric Trade Company and the captain of the ship Penelope, names after his wife. Thanks to a deal with their friend Odysseus and his crew gets involved in the Trojan Mafia conflict. The story starts at the end of this conflict. Odysseus and his crew are ready to go home, when the gods decied that this hundered years lucky atheist to be turned will be none other than the biggest atheist to ever sail the seas Odysseus. -

Odysseus doesn't kill the child and the prophecy can come true. This changes a lot of things, especially because Polites doesn't care much about prophecies.

“Polites!” Odysseus cried, dashing forward. His friend had an arm around each of the men’s shoulders, tottering on his feet unsteadily. His eyes were foggy with pain.
“Ody?” Polites muttered blearily, his eyes clearing slightly as he squinted up at Odysseus.
“I’m here, my friend,” Odysseus’ shaking hands hovered over his injured friend, unsure. “What happened?” He bit out, looking angrily at the men on either side of him.
When Odysseus wished for an excuse to escape his officer’s meeting, his best friend entering camp with an arrow through his chest wasn’t quite what he had in mind.

The years had damaged it but he still refused to cut his hair, as Eurylochus had done at one point, or replace the headband. "My mom made it," he said. "She'll make me another when we get home."***
The Trojans have won the war. For some, it means the time to return home has come.
Odysseus, however, is not among them.

It was the first time in ten years that Odysseus had lunch without Polites.
It was as if the entire Achaean camp had become deserted, populated only by ghostly whispers. The people seemed like shadows. The food was tasteless and the smell made him sick.
Odysseus knew that the people were talking to him and tried to answer. Plans, strategies, supplies. He was the king, of course he could take care of the new shipment of weapons.

It was the first time in ten years that Polites had lunch without Odysseus.It was as if the white and pure tablecloth was dripping with blood. Every drop of water spilled, every plate moved, every knife that cut meat seemed to Polites like the sound of battle. But none of these people had ever fought alongside him.
Polites was happy that no one was talking to him. He felt the eyes on him and knew that everyone was wondering about him, the king's son who had returned home. They seemed confused, almost frightened of him. He was like a lost childhood object reappearing in the middle of the living room. Yes, Polites thought, it was a good thing no one had tried to talk to him.

Perhaps he ought to have been worried about the possibility falling into the water from his usual position, due to his current state and dizziness. Perhaps he would have been, had he been able to think clearly through the dark clouding in his mind.

The people who had been in much the same position of survival as him, forced to witness and participate in the horrors of a war none of them had asked for. He rarely slept through each night, nightmares lurking in the darkness if the sheer guilt alone didn't daunt his exhaustion enough to keep his eyes wide open.
Despite all his own hardships born of the years engaging in activities that went against every fiber of his belief system, he still made time to check in on the other men. He especially made sure to keep an eye on his best friend. Odysseus. His king, his captain, his friend, his lover.
