Summary
Penelope decides that the best way to fight off suitors (until whenever Odysseus gets back-because he has to) is for Telemachus to rise to the throne. The only thing is that for this plan to fully work and for the suitors to back off, he must marry. His reign must be legitimate and foolproof. What will he do? It is expected he will marry a woman, produce an heir, all that stuff that comes along with being king, but what if that isn’t the life he wishes for? What if he doesn't wish to be king, marry a woman, or live this life of royalty anymore?

This is my version of ‘EPIC: The Musical’. It includes cut songs, cut verses, fan songs, fan verses, and mashups of cut and final songs. In parentheses there will be the actions of the characters, which I added after being inspired to do so by ObiWanKenobiObsessed’s story ‘His Journey Home’, which I highly recommend reading. This is a literary retelling of EPIC from Love in Paradise and beyond. If this picks up and gets some traction, I may also continue with the Vengeance Saga and the Ithaca Saga as well. And possibly beyond.
This will be from the perspective of the gods - occasionally, there may or may not be a mortal point of view in certain cases, but mostly it’s focusing on the Greek pantheon’s perspective.

Summary
A month after King Odysseus arrives to fight in the Trojan War, he rescues an infant girl from an animal attack that has claimed her family. Despite his better judgment, he's overcome by the need to raise her with his wife and alongside his son, and with the blessing of his mentor, he declares her his daughter.
Princess Amphiclea of Ithaca is brought up on a battlefield, her innocence tempered by a decade-long war.

While a god and a dead prophet figure out a cruel punishment from Zeus, two 15-year-olds sit in detention, refusing to meet the other's eyes.
When he was constantly blamed for every little prank and trick, it didn't help that Hermes was named after the Greek god of mischief(thanks to his mythology obsessed mother). It also doesn't help that his father was the principal, and had decided that his middle son wasn't worth anything compared to his older and younger brothers.
Tiresias wasn't blind. He refused to believe that the violent injury to his face that he endured would leave him completely unscathed, save for his eyes. He refused to believe that God could keep his features that often got him unwanted attention, yet take his sight. It seemed that he finally lived up to his name; the real prophet would be cackling from Hel. Tiresias wouldn't accept it, until his ex decided that he wasn't worth loving if he couldn't see.
They were there for different reasons, but only one thing mattered - they met each other, and one fateful meeting just so happened to change their lives forever.
