The prototype, who is Eliot Ludwig, has more of a grasp on his sanity, and empathizes with all of the other experiments. Because of this, he starts rounding up all the Toys and keeps them in groups to hopefully eventually go up to the surface together. There’s only one problem, Dr. Sawyer isn’t done experimenting yet and wants custody over the kids like the awful motherfucker he is.
In this fic, all hostile experiments are less “I’m going to rip you to shreds.” And more “I do not trust you, please leave.”

As Virgil contemplated, Janus, his friend and royal advisor tries to persuade him that it won't be as terrible as he thought. However, after taking a bit of a stern approach, Janus's plan had the opposite effect on Virgil, causing the prince to flee his kingdom with a crow he considered a friend to guide him.
