Summary
When Kyojuro opened the front door after one of the resident Kakushi announced his arrival, he was nearly expecting another awkward visit. He hadn't taken much in about the Water Hashira as he could barely see the man from where he was sat during the Hashira meeting.
As the shoji door opened, Kyojuro was nearly knocked off his feet. He was met with the most gorgeous sapphire eyes that resembled the ocean on a dark night. His eyes partially shielded by his ebony hair that contrasted well with his fair, porcelain-like skin, only blemished by two moles that only added to his elegance.

He's quiet for awhile just staring down to his hands before he takes a deep breathe. "G-gramps.." His voice is shaky now on the verge of tears, "How- ....Is this real?" Slowly he lifts his head up to look at me, unblinking as tears roll down his face.
Real? How hard did ya hit yer head, kid.. My head answers for me, nodding as he stares at me with soulless eyes, nothing like the kid from before. "..Yea, kid. Yea, this...this is real. You were supposed to be trainin then ya ran up that tree, remember?"
His head slowly turns to look over at the charred tree, nodding his head shakily. "Training...right..." Carefully he starts looking more around slowly turning his head to "Where's the...right it's...okay"

When his vision came into focus, a figure stood at the center of the field, a boy Sabito’s age. Sunlight illuminated the contours of his silhouette, yet the shadows cast left his features in a void of darkness.
The boy was sticking out his thumb, despite being covered by the shade and blinding rays, Sabito could vaguely make out the glow of a matching red string wrapped around it. Radiating like scarlet hues of the golden hour, glimmering above dips and craters of the vast endless ocean.
The sight was serene, ethereal, almost transcendent.
Sabito opened his mouth to call out to the boy, yet the name stayed stuck on his tongue. Every time he lifted his feet, the steps he took became shorter, shakier and ever more desperate, the grip at his ankles pulling harder than ever before.
As Sabito stepped forward, before he knew it, he was pulled beneath the earth, into an aggressive thrashing current.
