Every time he sleeps, Bilbo relives the moment when he watched Thorin die in his arms. The nightmares have not left him in peace since the battle.
The thing is, Thorin didn’t die. He is recovering in a cot right beside Bilbo.
As it turns out, the best way to stop Bilbo’s subconscious mind from telling him Thorin is dead is to fall asleep holding onto him.

Summary
Their bodies inched closer together, Dean's hand still fisting Cas' shirt as the angel rested his hands on Dean's lower back, rubbing circles across his skin. Their kisses were slow and tender. Deliberate.
Sometimes Dean felt himself getting lost when they were alone together. Cas' full lips against his own, warm hands on his body, was intoxicating. Dizzying. They hadn't really had much time for affection or even personal conversation over the last few days of the hunt. Dean hadn't realised how much he'd been craving that until they were here, now, in this moment.
