Summary
An interlude falling early in Peter's senior year in my Strands universe.
Tony knew his kid wasn’t comfortable tooting his own horn, but that’s not what this was about. How could he explain? He took a breath, then turned to fully face Peter.
Well, now was probably as good a time as any.

Summary
Tony Stark does not care about people.
This is an established fact.
Then Peter Parker becomes his intern.
Tony tells himself he's simply being a responsible employer.
OR
Peter Parker is very good at pretending.
Tony Stark is unfortunately very good at noticing.
Neither of them is particularly good at telling the truth..especially Peter, who is hiding more than Tony ever realizes.

Summary
Peter has been rotating between foster homes since he was five. He is currently sixteen. His parents died before they could experience all the “firsts” in parent-child relationships.
Ben and May probably experienced Peter’s first words, his first time walking, the first time Peter ate solid food. But he doesn’t remember any of that. And in most of the foster homes he was placed into, he took on a caretaking role for the other children there. Witnessing their “firsts”, before he even got to experience “firsts” of his own.
Tony already felt like Peter’s father, he had been a reluctant mentor for the kid for a long time. There was even an ongoing theory proposed by Clint that Peter was Tony’s biological child. Sometimes, Tony wished this was true. Only because he had missed out on so many of Peter’s “firsts” as a parental figure.
OR
7 of Peter and Tony's "firsts".

Summary
Peter spontaneously visits a new stationery store that popped up across the street from his Manhattan private school. He meets the owner, Ms. Pepper, and feels an instant connection. She’s kind, smart, and treats him with genuine respect. Of course, the next logical step is to make sure she and his dad become friends. That's not a big ask... right?
