Summary
Tonight most people will be welcomed home by jumping dogs and squealing kids and thousands more will ask about their day and tonight they'll sleep. The stars will wheel forth from their daytime hiding places; and one of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.- Up In The Air

He hadn’t seen Sid in two weeks. Sid had dark circles under his eyes and the beginnings of a beard; even though he looked awful, a thrill went through Zhenya’s body at seeing him.
Sid said, “Have you checked your phone yet this morning?”

“Room service?” Geno asked, sidling behind Sid in the locker room, making her escape to the showers before Jen let the media in. She winked at Sid and was out the door before Sid had a chance to reply.
Well, Geno knew what the answer was. When had Sid ever told her no?

Summary
It’s not unusual for them to be away for months—Sid’s away most of the off season, to start—but this time it’s different. Geno’s spent the last few months dating thirty people. Geno’s probably engaged.
But when Geno comes out of customs, his bags behind him, there’s no difference in his smile when he catches sight of Sid.

Summary
His gaze drifts over the rest of the display to a few pieces of jewelry, some thick necklaces for men, a few bizarre flower pins he thinks of sending to his mother simply because it would make her laugh, but something does draw his gaze.
Zhenya finds himself pushing through the aged door, a bell tinkling above, as he steps into the dim interior of the shop.Bookmarked by Devisama
