Post-Mugen Train Arc. Akaza had a bit less time than in the movie and couldn't break free from Rengoku in time. So he decides to grab him and take him with him. Rengoku wakes up in a dark cave and can't believe that he is still alive. When he realizes who is holding him captive, he tries everything in his power to flee. But why is Akaza watching him like that?
A continuation of the movie in which Rengoku didn't die, but has to go through some shit to come back out on top again. -

Summary

“They were quieter now than they usually were, as if anything above a murmur might wake the ghosts the floor was built upon. Whenever their eyes locked on each other, Angel felt the depth of grief in his heart mirrored in the golden pupil’s of his fellow, and personal favorite, fuck up. It was immensely comforting in a way words had never been so, for once, Angel let the silence stretch. They stayed like that for a long time, ending up perched side by side on the bar. Things felt bearable like that. It felt like they were holding the clock still, their environment unchanging and silent save for the clicking of glass bottles."

Husk shrugged a shoulder awkwardly.
"Company? Sounded like you may have liked some too." He finished with a nod to the bed.
Angel has a very rough day and a friend comes to make him some company, which definitely won't awake anything on Angel.

Angel finally gets free from Valentino and can return to the hotel with everyone.

His ears folded back, "Cherri—"
He started and she rolled her eyes, grabbing his suspenders she dragged him in. Closing the door behind him, "I've seen you starin' at his door before." She let him go. "You're aloud to miss him, Husk. We ain't gonna invade shit, now lay down." She pointed at the bed.
___Or, Husk and Cherri are both missing Angel, so they do what's logical and lay in his bed, and talk.
