    Summary

    It all started when Peter Parker became Internet famous - Twitter's new favorite celebrity, to be exact. What came afterwards - well, between becoming an Avenger, trying to keep the online world convinced that he's dating his alter-ego, navigating romance and grief, and trying to keep up with the bad guys as Spider-Man... let's just say Peter Parker has his hands full.

    (A Twitter fic with plot, but sprinkle in gay things, a bit of HYDRA, and an IW/EG rewrite)

    Izuku's door had been open when he'd gotten home. Not his front door, nor the porch door, but his bedroom door. It was only slight, as simple as the latch not being pushed in properly, but it was enough to have Izuku's heart hammering. He didn't touch the handle, fingers hovering just above the metal, and felt the hair on the back of his neck rise.

    "Ah, you see, my baby girl gets very attached very quickly. That's my fault, I suppose I spoiled her too much. But she's been begging for her big brother, and I can see why. You're going to fit in just perfectly."

    "Ple-Please! I want to go hom-home!"

    OR: In a city run by crime, Izuku has always been told to hide his kindness. But it wasn't always that easy. How was he to know the little girl he saved from tripping was the daughter of the biggest crime organisation? And was he to know they were both obsessed with the idea of him being family?

    The pain is no longer sharp—just deep and consuming. It throbs with his heartbeat. Every pulse reminds him he’s still here.

    Still breathing.

    Still inconveniently alive.

    Tim considers staying right where he is up against the tree.

    The bleeding will do the hard part—eventually. Hypothermia would help. He’s already soaked from the river anyway and the night air is cold enough to bite. He could close his eyes—rest maybe—stop fighting for once.

    The city lights blur and flicker in the distance.

    No one would know exactly where he is. Maybe not for another few hours or so. They’d search for a while, then when they find Tim maybe he won’t be here anymore.

    His good hand rests limp over his stomach.

    I’m so tired...
    He thinks bleakly the kind of tiredness that settles into your bones and not just your muscles.

    Tim’s eyes flutter shut against the night. Keeping them open requires too much effort.

    His breathing slows, the sound of the water trickling by keeps him semi present, and for a moment—suspended between pain and sleep—Timothy Drake genuinely hopes he doesn’t wake up.
