Summary
Returning from a spectacularly successful mission, which is absolutely not a lie, and having secured a scroll of particular interest to the clan, Tobirama comes across a child in need, whom he absolutely cannot ignore. The issue, though, lies in the fact that the child is undeniably an Uchiha spawn, and its guardian won’t hesitate to make themselves known in due time.
As push comes to shove and things turn from bad to worse, Tobirama thinks that the scroll might have been cursed. If it was cursed for eternal misery, however, or for true love, remains to be seen.
Wherever the road leads, his only choice now is to take it.

These orders have haunted Tobirama since childhood. Despite the cruel world that pressed down against his senses, he has been a dutiful son and an obedient shinobi. But there have been parts of himself he has kept hidden from everyone else. The freedom he felt when he realized he could walk upon clouds. The pointlessness and smallness of it all when viewed from high above. The lack of distinction he feels in the pain of those who are called Senju and those Butsuma has deemed enemies.
His brothers were his tethers for his sensing, the only ones he cared for, the ones who helped the world make sense, and they are gone. Dead. He had failed them. After Tobirama is responsible for the broken bonds of friendship between Hashirama and that Uchiha, Hashirama won't even look at him. So what is there to hold onto? What is there to keep him fighting?
Kill. Obey.

Summary
Kids are the joy of life, cousin Mikoto once said, presenting him with the ugliest, wrinkliest, most eyesoreful infant possible. Itachi opened his eyes then, and, almost as if he could read Obito’s thoughts and decipher the grimace of disgust on his face, started crying and screeching like a captured bijou - Obito would know, he heard that sound many times by now.
So that was a fucking lie.
He forces himself not to comment on the armoury that the kid’s bed had become - he can allow Sasuke to keep some paranoia, as a treat - and instead tugs at the covers.
Three more shuriken and a kunai fall to the floor.
“I’m happy right here. Can you teach me katon?” Sasuke tells him, as if Obito isn't going through every thing he knows about anger management in his head right now.
“Kid, seriously,” Obito rubs at his temples, “take it from me, only having training as your hobby will lead to a burnout,” or, to becoming a terrorist that gets thrown into the past against his will.
Or; after the fight with Kaguya, instead of dying, Obito finds himself in the Uchiha compound week post the massacre.
He ends up taking care of Sasuke.Or; Obito repents by becoming a parental figure.

What?!
