Four days and three sleepless nights. That was how long it’d been since Catra left Bright Moon (and Adora) for a week-long mission, and also the longest time they’d spent apart since Horde Prime’s defeat. So when the mission wraps up early, they’re both anxious to reunite. But unfortunately, sleep-deprived and stressed, once they’re finally together they end up arguing. Again.

Flip the switch: Push down your anxiety and just do the damn thing. Think of it as turning off your anxiety and turning your swag on (for lack of better phrasing). Can be thought of as a sudden change in mood.

Catra finds that she has a talent for...compartmentalizing. She's usually an anxious mess but can "fake it till she makes it" if she has to. Bow called it 'flipping the switch'. It wasn't supposed to become a thing but it just kind of stuck

Summary
The panic attacks started a few weeks after the end of the war. They usually came after a nightmare or when something brought back a bad memory. Catra managed to hide it so far. Whenever it happened it the middle of the day, she portrayed her usual careless face while she dug her nails hard into her palms. Pain was something she was used to, so it helped her focus and pretend everything was fine.
