Summary

Summary
It’s hard. Harder than one might think, especially with a story like his, because he has to picture what he looks like from his memories. It hurts to see human him smile so easily, to hold Koyuki’s hand, to laugh with Keizo. To watch him save instead of kill.
What might hurt most, though, is that Akaza has nothing from the past. No clothes, no hair pin, no drawing, no tie, no nothing. It’s too late to try and get anything back. Too many years have passed.
--
Akaza thinks. Can't stop thinking, actually.
It's eating him from the inside, tearing him apart. Kyoujurou is there to put him back together.Bookmarked by ElectricBath

Summary
The sanctuary-like structure, with its roof and a central opening that served as an altar - clearly unused for who knows how long - sat on large stone slabs that appeared to form a short staircase. There were also traces of an ancient shimenawa on the sides of the small hokura. Still, the passing of the years had devoured the woven hemp rope, leaving only moldy threads hanging sadly on the external walls.
Grass and moss had now taken over the votive structure, making it almost impossible for Rengoku to locate any inscriptions.
Another detail, as fascinating as it is singular, was the presence of two statues on the sides of the small sanctuary: komainu.Bookmarked by ElectricBath
