Summary
A Brokeback Mountain inspired Jegulus fic. James and Regulus are cowboys in 1963 Wyoming who develop forbidden feelings for each other. Unable to be together, they confine their relationship to Wolfsend Ridge, reuniting on the mountain despite every obstacle life throws at them.

'Regulus places a soft kiss on James' nose, then one on his mouth. They relax back onto the blanket, giving the stars their full attention. Regulus points to Sirius and says "he's always been brighter than me".
James looks at Regulus and says carefully, “Y’know, stars don’t just hang up there forever. The brightest ones burn out the fastest. They explode. Somethin’ that brilliant can’t last forever.”
Regulus considers this and then says, a little mournfully, “Then I guess I’m the part that comes after. Just the death left behind.”
“No, Reg. You’re the brightness. The explosion. The moment the whole sky changes forever. I’m just lucky to be here to witness it".'

Summary
When Sirius decides they should run, Regulus almost refuses. He’s learned to distrust anything that sounds like freedom when it comes from his brother. But staying means suffocating, and leaving—however reckless—means movement.
But the brighter they burn, the closer they edge to collapse.
Because nothing this volatile was ever meant to last.
And like all stars, they are destined to either burn out—or explode.

Summary
After Walburga and Orion’s sudden and mysterious death, Sirius and Regulus inherit the family’s legacy - their titles, riches, estates. Sirius becomes the head of the house of Black, with Regulus by his side. Discontent, Bellatrix and other family members pay James and Remus to go undercover, seducing the Black Brothers to get a confession out of them regarding their parent's deaths, suspecting that there is more to the story than meets the eye. However, James and Remus find themselves in the most unusual of situations upon meeting the beautiful and elusive brothers, who make them question the true nature of Walburga and Orion's deaths, and eventually, their own sanity.

A very twisted story set in the 1970's, in which the Black Brothers inherit the Black Estate, find out about James and Remus' plans to investigate them, and play along for fun because they're chaotic and very, very morally questionable. The fic includes depictions of religious guilt, imagery, murder, and a very messed up dynamic between characters.
