Hello everyone, Welcome to my first Voltron Legendary Defender fanfic. It was inspired by the Tumbler post by Alexdamner-damnilton. What if Haggar cast a spell on Lance that made his emotional pain as physical pain, so like every time Keith one-upped him or Pidge made an unintentionally hurtful comment, he would get a new cut or bruise somewhere on his body.
Enjoy, and to my knowledge, it will be a two shot. Oh, I do not own VLD that belongs to Dreamworks. If I did Lance would be getting a lot more LOVE!

Summary
Simon narrowly drags himself out of the blood ocean, onto a white space ship floating on the surface. It makes no sense. How is this thing here? Where are all the people? How is he ALIVE?
How are there stars in the sky?
He barely understands anything in this ship, but he can faintly make out that it was made for a very important project, a mission that is life-or-death.
And for a man that just narrowly escaped another life-or-death mission, he was not a fan of the premonition that he's going to have to take up this project himself.
Until he heard muffled crying from a hidden corner of the ship.
Is that... a child?!

Simon has to complete the Project Hail Mary mission after he finds the ship with only a glasses-wearing blond child inside. Why a child is alone here is a big question. The weird not-glass panes sectioning off half of the ship is another big question. The stress builds up to the point he almost doesn't notice the other two creatures sneaking around inside with them. Simon is definitely not qualified for this shit.

Summary
Grace feels like he’s dying on Erid, having lived there for 2 years now and the loneliness is starting to grate at him. He misses Earth, he misses his friends, and overall he misses human connection. So, to boost his mental health, the Eridian couple Rocky and Adrian take their favourite human on holiday in the Hail Mary, only to encounter a mysterious submarine floating in space.
Simon’s wish has been granted. He’s, by all technicalities, alive. He’s kept breathing by his mutations, the blood that seeped under his skin is keeping him breathing and functioning, but it’s more than him. There’s something else too, a familiar, echoing and mocking voice in his head that won’t go away, that didn’t want to die either.

TLDR: A depressed Grace finds himself on holiday in the Mary with Adrian and Rocky, and they encounter a distressed, hallucinating man in a rusty submarine full of blood.
