Summary
The Rift is big, mysterious, and decidedly not a proper (or legal) interserver portal. Of course it isn't. Grian literally built it in his basement and doesn't remember a good part of the process.
It's genuinely impressive that it's functional at all. Scar certainly didn't expect it to be when he touched it.
Oh well. They were due for a vacation anyway, weren't they?
(or: In which the Rift spits out three Hermits in the middle of Antarctica, a couple of weeks after the battle of New York. Stranded in a server larger than anything they've seen before, disconnected from the Hub and built on different rules than what they're familiar with, finding their way back home proves much more difficult than previously assumed — how do you even build an interserver portal in the middle of a deadzone while the world's code fights you every step of the way? Dealing with just one of these things is difficult enough.
And that's without throwing shady government plots, persistent superheroes and long-dead gods into the mix. The Admin Training Camp didn't prepare Grian for this.)

Summary
After the final show of HUNTR/X's 2026 World Tour, their lead singer, Grian, is confident about what next year will bring. His, Jimmy's and Joel's names top the charts, their fanbase grows every day, and the release of their highly anticipated single has secured them a spot at the Idol Awards in March. Even though they're meant to be on break for the holidays, there's no harm in keeping the momentum going, is there?
What's more, their success strengthens the Honmoon—the barrier between the human world and the realm of the soul-eating Watchers—and is instrumental to living their double lives as demon hunters. Grian needs the Honmoon to be sealed permanently, not just to exterminate the Watchers in the Void, but to erase his own patterns, which exist as an ugly mark of his half-demon heritage.
But with the emergence of a demonic new music group that steals the fans and the Honmoon's strength, the boys are forced to fight fire with fire, even as the media pushes the Sajas and HUNTR/X together. It was supposed to be one fic just for Mystery, but I got carried away and now it's a three fic series. The first two are already written, each around 12 chapters. Part 1 is Zoestery with a dusting of Jinu/Rumi. Part 2 and 3 I probably shouldn't spoil but I did have to write some OCs. (It's not fair, there just aren't enough female characters in the movie to go around!)
If you enjoy a romantic fic with a solid amount of banter, written for the sole purpose of shameless shipping, you've come to the right place!
