“Hi, what seems to be the problem?” Hyunjin asked, keeping his tone bright and steady as his eyes moved from the man’s tears to the hostess beside him. Before Haewon could answer, the man was spilling out another round of apologies.
“It’s my fault, I know it is!” he wiped at his eyes and Hyunjin now stood close enough to see the flush of pink cheeks under a mesmerizing scatter of freckles and a tremble in his heart-shaped mouth. The man was beautiful. Very upset, but very beautiful. “God, I’m so sorry, I know crying isn’t going to change anything!”
“He’s the one who confirmed the final details for the rehearsal dinner tomorrow night,” Haewon explained. “His brother’s wedding. His numbers were off.”
“His numbers were off?” Hyunjin knew all about the Lee family reservation that had been on the books for several months already, longer than he had even been working at The View. “How far off were the numbers?”
“He was fifteen off,” said Haewon in a quiet voice and Hyunjin looked up just in time to see the man cover his face with his hands to try to stop the sound of sobbing from reaching them.(Or when Felix meets a handsome restaurant manager who saves his ass and everyone assumes they're dating)
