Summary
Yet another take on the Hob-rescues-Dream-from-fishbowl scenario, but in this case it's a look at the aftermath.
Post-rescue Dream is extremely weak and can't access his powers properly, nor the Dreaming. He stays with Hob to recuperate. Lots of cuddling because Dream is touch-starved, Hob playing nurse, and both friends realizing *feels* slow burn style.
Also. Hob thinks Dream is way too proud for someone who needed the TLC of a toddler. And if no one else is going to take Dream down a notch, it's up to him.

Summary
When Eddie Munson finally wakes up, the first thing he sees is Steve's sleeping body draped over an uncomfortable-looking chair. As he starts healing he keeps expecting Steve to run off, but he never does. Instead, the pair grow closer and the line between love and friendship fades. Slowly but surely Eddie learns more about Steve, and vice versa. A fix-it fic in which Eddie and Max survive, and the gang finally gets a chance to be normal kids.
The fic's title is based on the W.A.S.P. song. :)
