Summary
Patroclus was meant to die beneath the walls of Troy.
His death was supposed to shatter Achilles. Achilles’ grief would become wrath, Hector would fall beneath his spear, Troy would burn, and the greatest warrior Greece had ever known would follow his beloved into death soon after.
The Fates had already written the ending.
Then Thetis heard her son scream.
Unable to save Achilles from the glorious death foretold for him, the sea goddess does the one thing no one expects: she saves the man who makes Achilles want to live. Patroclus rises from the battlefield, his severed thread knotted back together and his future suddenly unwritten.

Summary
After surviving the massacre at Arklay Mountain, Chris escapes from hell only to run into its fucking twin when he finds out that the virus has already spread to Raccoon City. Hoping to find his sister, he goes back to the Raccoon Police City Department only for him to run into rookie cop, Leon S. Kennedy. With both dead set on finding Claire and getting the hell out of the city, the two immediately partner up and promise themselves to get through this. Prince Aerion Targaryen once drank a cup of wildfire, convinced it would make him a dragon. It made him a corpse instead—briefly. Fate (or the gods, or some bored Valyrian demon with a taste for jokes) spits him back into the world generations earlier, reborn as the twin brother of Prince Jacerys Velaryon, son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
