Summary
I found what I thought was a fine piece of wood and started to whittle away at it. Patroclus was better at this than I. I had meant for it to be a statue of him holding a bowl of figs instead it barely looked human. Chiron had laughed when I first showed it to him. My cheeks turned red and I threw the wood at him. The inhumane statue bounced harmlessly off his chest which drew an even deeper laugh from him.
It was the first time I had heard him laugh from his chest, “I believe Patroclus would still like it, but if you wish for me to show you I will.”
It took us a couple of months to whittle it into a shape that resembled him. It wasn’t nearly as lavish as I wished it to be, but it was enough to bring a grin to my face. It was enough to bring a grin on Patroclus' face as well.
“They can be together,” Patroclus said as he stood back to stare at the two statues.
“I hope they stay like that,” I added, “I hope they stay together.” I turned to look at him and neither of us had to say that we hoped the same for us.

Summary
Once, there was a golden hero, blessed by the gods, destined to be remembered for millennia to come. At the hero’s side was another, as close as a shadow and just as impossible to separate. In the end, despite the hero’s promises, neither got the ending they wished for.
This is not that story.
When Achilles vanishes the day after he and Patroclus return to Phthia, Patroclus searches for him desperately, only to learn from Peleus that Achilles has been taken by his mother to the caves beneath the sea, and Patroclus is expected to lead the Myrmidons to Troy in his place. But a strange meeting with a traveller lurking in the shadows of the palace endows Patroclus with the blessing of Hestia, in the form of an ember that has been waiting for a proper bearer for centuries. With the gifts newly given to him, can Patroclus manage to defy Fate itself to find Achilles, survive Troy, avoid the ire of the proud and dangerous Greek kings, and put an end to the cycle of tragedy that has plagued heroes for as long as they have existed?

Summary
Everyone knew the prophecy: if Troy’s youngest prince reached the age of twenty, the city would remain invincible. The fate of Troy rested upon Troilus's breath, and his demise was the only way for the Greeks to prevail. Achilles, the greatest of them all, knew it well.
He arrived with one goal: to kill the boy. Yet, faced with eyes as deep as the sea and hair brighter than the sun, a twisted obsession began to brew within him.

Summary
Cruelly separated by the US foster system at 13, Patroclus and Achilles reunite after three years. Who are they now and do they still fit together? (It’s Patrochilles, of course they do.) Can they navigate the aftermath of ‘the (angsty) wrath of (stroppy teen) Achilles’? (I mean, probs, let’s hope so anyway.) Will Paris and Menelaus ever come to terms with the fact that Helen is not a piece of meat? (Lol. No.)

Summary
Achilles couldn’t die.
Quite literally, Achilles couldn’t die. It could be considered a miracle, a blessing. He tried to come up with a reason for that to happen while he had an arrow through his chest. It hurt, he couldn’t deny that, but he was alive, not an inch close to death, Thanatos himself was confused. He was imortal now, totally imortal, that meant the prophecy had broke, he would never die in the shores of Troy. ‘Patroclus will be happy’ he thought.
Oh, right.
Patroclus is dead.
———
After cursing the Gods, Achilles taste their fury when he is doomed to spent his eternity as an imortal man with the curse of meeting Patroclus reincarnations, ignorant about him, over and over again through the ages, and he always has the same fate: dying because of Achilles.

Summary
Achilles and Patroclus wake up trapped in white void with one sofa, one TV, and one disembodied voice informing them that they're about to watch modern portrayals of themselves.
Achilles is outraged. Patroclus is trying to stay calm. All the tea was left in Elysium.
And we are on the ride to mayhem with them!
From Troy (2004) to The Song of Achilles to every fanfic that ever existed (plus a little revisit to the past), nothing is safe here.
Or Achilles and Patroclus reacting to themselves in media (poorly)
Or a very very very crack fic

Summary
Everyone in all of mighty Achaea knows of how protective and proud Menoetius is of his only son — so much so that it reflects in the boy's very name — Patroclus. Pride of the father. The boy has been a revered figure since the very day of his birth, given he is an omega in a land where his kind are not only worshipped but are also rarely descended from royal families because of their very strong alpha lineage.
Now eighteen, and eligible for marriage, suitors begin visiting the grand walls of Opus to have a chance to catch a look at the prince, and possibly gain his hand. Menoetius gives his son the leave to choose his husband, but it does not mean he will make it easy for anyone to just whisk him away. So he plucks a few pages out of books of older traditions and revives "Athlos" — a series of games that had once been held in the honour of omegas, to allow them to see and select the best of the alphas for themselves. To separate the wheat from the chaff.
Menoetius watches mighty princes trip over each other for his Patroclus. For him, it is a challenge — a dare to see who could take away his precious son from him. He already sees himself as the victor.
What he does not expect is the Prince of Phthia.

Sometimes, intense emotions blindly entangle the heart and entire consciousness of a person.
They lead to misguided decisions, resulting in tragedies for oneself. Is that the nature of humanity? Or of a monster?

Summary
The older members of the Argonauts, a fraternity from Ithaca college, regularly have get togethers where they (and their children) hang out for a day, or sometimes even a weekend fishing trip. Their kids include such wonderful characters as Patroclus, the captain of the school's boxing team and state champion, Achilles, captain of the track team with the fastest record in school history, Ajax, Achilles' cousin and a boxer, and Teucer, Ajax's brother who tried track once and never went back, despite Achilles' protests. And it's usually fine. Sure, Patroclus tenses up a lot when his dad's around, but he's probably just afraid he'll embarrass him. And sure, it's a little odd that Patroclus has bruises even in the off-season, but stranger things have happened. And okay, maybe Patroclus and Achilles can barely stand each other, but it's fine, really. That is until Achilles realizes that he and Patroclus have the same soul mark at their weekend get away and Menoitius absolutely loses his shit.

Summary
From their childhood in Phthia in the 90’s, and later in Pelion, to their lives as lawyers in Troy, the city of gangs and corruption, Achilles and Patroclus navigate their relationship in a world mixing romance, thriller and comedy with the help of Briseis, Automedon, Paris and Helen (who are a more iconic duo than a twink and a redhead).
This is the second version—revised and augmented—of my first fic.
“Patroclus? Do you understand?” Do you understand. The cruelty of adults. They usually asked questions like this as if they expected only a simple and reluctant nod of obedience. But the worried voice and the pity in the eyes of the social worker in front of Patroclus made him think there was more to it this time. And the truth was, he did not understand. [...] Out of habit, he nodded. Whether he meant it or not had never mattered before. The social worker stood up, gave him a sad smile and ruffled his hair, as if to scatter his thoughts, and left, leaving him alone in the colorful yet dull room of the social center. A hair ruffle for a gone mother.
