For T.J., it started in the second grade. His mom sat him down after his piano lesson and told him that his soulmate was out there somewhere, and whatever they drew on their skin or was drawn on their skin, he would see it on his own skin. Like tattoos that would show up during the day and get washed away at the end. Every year, every class, he tried to see if someone had the same doodles on their arms or notebooks. He’s had a few close calls, but meeting Cyrus Goodman...he cursed the fact his arms were bare.
