Summary
There once was a grand castle. The castle was home to a prince, a very spoiled prince. Surrounded by his entourage, he looked down on all the people who entered his castle. One day an old woman entered, begging simply, for a place to stay for the night, just one night. The prince refused, saying his castle had no rooms to spare for an ‘old hag’. The woman, displeased by his answer revealed herself to be a powerful sorceress, chastising the prince for his selfish behavior. The prince pleaded for forgiveness from the sorceress but she refused
“If you are so cruel, then your body should reflect your retched soul.”
The sorceress cursed him to turn into a hideous beast. The castle being kept in an eternal winter, The prince and servants trapped within forever.
The sorceress left one gift. A rose, and a deal. The prince will have until the last petal falls off the rose to find true love, or they will stay like this forever.ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Summary
The day after Rusty won the race, a bad storm rolls into the yard. The trains gather together and are prepared to hunker down and just wait out the blizzard, but with an engine too low on fuel to make it through the bad conditions, someone must venture to the next yard over to fetch supplies.
And the only one able to go? Rusty.
With an unlikely volunteer accompanying him, the steam train must venture out into the frigid conditions and traverse the dangerous tracks to fetch the necessary supplies and return safely.
The returning safely bit doesn't quite go to plan.
