Summary
By every available metric, Yang Jeongin is a well-adjusted adult.
He pays his rent early. He has a ten-step skincare routine. He calls his eomma weekly. He writes on his coworker's birthday cards. He has never once raised his voice in a meeting, even during the Hot Churn Summer of '25, where a fourth of their client list decided to all end their contracts in the same quarter, and the founder was grilling him for reasons beyond his control. He is, by broad and sincere consensus, one of the nicest people at the company, a genuine delight, sweet sweet Jeongin.
And then Kim Seungmin walks past his desk, and Jeongin has to quickly close the browser tab where he was researching how long a body takes to decompose in a server room.

Summary
What Jisung hates most, the thing he will never admit out loud, not under torture, not to Felix, not to a priest, is that Lee Minho is, objectively, the most annoyingly beautiful man in competitive bedcraft, possibly in any sport that requires standing near a bed. Sharp nose. Eyes like a cat deciding whether you're worthy of their presence. He's in the black athletic fit that everyone wears yet somehow it looks like it was made for him personally.
He looks over. He finds Jisung's eyes across the ring, and one corner of his mouth tips up. Not a smile. Adjacent to a smile. A smile's deadbeat cousin once removed.
"Han," he says.
"Lee," Jisung says, with all the venom he practiced in the mirror.
"You look nervous."
"I'm focused."
"On me?"
"On the bed."
"Mm." Minho turns back to his mattress and rolls his shoulders, loose, unbothered, and Jisung wants to scream. He's getting in your head. He's been in your head for three years. He has a whole apartment up there and doesn't even pay rent.
The head judge raises her hand. Everything goes quiet.
"Athletes," she says. "On my mark."

Summary
"You don't go straight home," she'd told them one day, explaining the Filipino wake tradition, in the slow careful Korean she used for them, switching to English when the words didn't reach. "After a wake, you stop somewhere. A store, a restaurant, anywhere with people and light. Because the spirit, you see, the spirit follows you. It thinks you're still together. And if you bring it home, it will stay."

Summary
Chang Huasen is upset with his One Take and hides to sulk.
Or
That one time Huasen was crying so hard but Yinghao just laughs at him. (Inspired by that Friendship Institute interview where they talk about this off cam moment, laugh like crazy, and give each other heart eyes)

Summary
It's funny, how you can wake in the morning and have no idea where the day will take you, where you'll be at the end of it. So many normal days pass without a thing changing. Ten, thirty, eighty, one-thousand days go by without a single incident. And then—
"Oh, Jisung! This is my cousin, Minho!"
—Minho.
Jisung thought he knew what love was, convinced himself as much. He's starting to think he's had it all wrong.
