There was silence for a moment, before the original voice spoke again. “But do you really believe that’s the case?” he asked. “That was only theoretical. The experiment can’t be an omega, surely. He’s so big.”
“Stranger things have happened.” The other scientist shrugged. “Either way, he’s not an omega NOW. Not entirely, at least.”
“Indeed,” the scientist murmured, “If he bares a womb and fertile semen, he could prove very useful to the League. His DNA is very desirable.”
Jason shivered, hearing the hidden meaning. They wanted to BREED him.

“Everyone, welcome our new member, Captain Marvel.”
Bruce sniffed the air. Did Captain Marvel have a kid? He had the distinctive lingering scent that pups usually carried. Batman shrugged it off. Who cares if the man had kids. It was none of Bruce’s business.
As the meeting went on however, Bruce frowned. Captain Marvel was very immature...
It wasn’t surprising that the other members of the League hadn’t noticed. Alphas and betas weren’t as instinctively drawn to pups. They cared for their own, not the pups of others. Omegas however, were genetically programmed to be nurturing, and they would help any pup in need. As evidenced by Bruce’s menagerie of children.
Captain Marvel was a pup in need—an orphan named BATSON no less. Bruce simply had to take the pup home to his nest. So that's what he did.

Professor Snape went into lecture mode. “I believe that the personal wards Black placed over the house reset when he died. It seems he had repressed the Dark magic that has inhabited his familial home for generations. With that, he also suppressed this room, which is dedicated to the study of Dark magic.”
Harry looked around the room again, nodding. “That makes sense,” he muttered, but things still weren’t lining up. “But why am I the only one who can sense the difference?” he asked. “Can the others not see the room?”
The professor nodded. “They cannot. It is my hypothesis that only those with affinities for Dark magic can enter.”
Harry’s eyes widened. “Dark magic? I don’t have Dark magic!”

Summary
Harry needed a fresh start after the war. The faces in Britain were too haunted, adoring, or sympathetic. The faces in France, however, were a breath of fresh air. So he transferred to Beauxbatons to finish his NEWTs. Classes would certainly prove difficult, since he didn't know any French, but luckily he had already found someone who agreed to tutor him.

“Expect signs of PTSD,” the social worker warned him, “Extreme mood swings, risky behavior, aggression, and self-harm are all things to look out for. I would recommend counseling.”
Severus hasn’t seen any of that yet. Harry is extremely polite, neat, and personable. He likes gardening and football. He helps make grocery lists and cook dinner.
He knows there is more: clues that he’s missing and behaviors he’s overlooking, hints that Harry is struggling more that he’s letting on, but overall, Harry seems remarkably well-adjusted. It’s unnerving.
Because Severus knows that Harry spent a significant portion of his childhood confined to a single cupboard under the stairs. He knows that Harry was not fed consistently and did not have clean clothes that fit him. That he was hit.
By all accounts, Harry should be struggling. In the eight years since Severus first met Harry as an infant, his parents died, he was raised in an abusive household, and then forced to live with an estranged family friend he didn’t remember.
It worries Severus that he’s not seeing it, like Harry could be drowning right in front of him and he wouldn’t even know.

"My name is… You, me, and a bed?" Bruce murmurs as he leans in. "Unless you're taken?"
The flush that blooms across Kent's cheeks is delicious. His laugh is quiet, warm, disarmingly human for a man who could bench-press a freight train.
"No. I'm… single. Broke up a few months ago and since then I've kind of been… you know."
The softness in Kent's tone coaxes a quiet smile from Bruce. He almost feels guilty for offering something so filthy and impulsive. Almost. But Kent's pupils are already wide, dark with interest. His body betrays whatever hesitation might still live in his mind.
"Must get lonely," Bruce whispers, his mouth brushing close to Kent's ear.
(Or, Bruce is undercover when he crosses paths with Clark Kent. Sleeping with him wasn't exactly part of the mission… but honestly, have you seen those dimples?)
