Summary
She’s still getting used to how it sounds herself and she’s been so focused on not looking like a schoolgirl who just found out her crush likes her back every time he calls her his wife that she hasn’t really paid much attention to his own demeanor. Until one day she goes to introduce herself to a laborer he’s hired to help with the remodel of their cabin and is cut off by him practically running to her side to say, “This is my wife, Teresa.”

Summary
It all started with an inconvenient erection and an honest question. Are you attracted to me? What if Jane and Lisbon were intimate before there was enough trust to navigate the feelings that arise? How would that impact their partnership and how they move forward both as individuals and with each other? Alternative universe from 2x11 but I retain the right to pull in elements from later episodes as I choose. Should expect spoilers through the end of the RJ arc. Partially alternative RJ arc with a few darker scenes. I can’t promise anything but a happily ever after. Expect angst. And, as the rating suggests, there are a number of very explicit scenes in this story.
