Summary
Years Mumbo had struggled with a virus that was slowly killing him. He thought he could prolong his death by using prosthetics and medicines-- But eventually it was too hard too ignore. With him aging and constantly using his hands it became difficult to do redstone, the gray in his hair was now apparent. He had to go to drastic measures.
There was only one reasonable solution of course, becoming immortal! With all of his research he decided to become a vampire. He tries his best to follow the instructions.. And it seemingly works! For a while.
He did change, but something was off. He didn't crave blood, and he was still aging. His death was becoming more imminent. With the light at the end of the tunnel, seemingly out of no where he got a message. Voices spoke to him, and they spoke of Midas.

Mumbo is dying so he does a ritual to become a vampire. He instead makes a love potion.

Scar rowed back to the starter houses screaming his head off for help. “GUYS! GUYS- Everyone- wAH- bad news bad news!”
“What, Scar, what?” Gem snapped at him, covering her head with a trapdoor as it started to rain. She didn’t like to be interrupted in the middle of building her starter base.
“It’s Grian! We need everyone- we have to get- get together-”
Impulse was there. “Whoa- hey, Scar, take a deep breath. You’re not making any sense, buddy.”
“I tried to catch him, but he fell.” Scar’s chest heaved. His voice started to break. “It was so dark, and he fell into the dark. He looked so scared the last time I saw his face.”Grian woke up with a gasp. He blinked hard, sitting up and hitting his head on something.
Pain radiated out from another sore spot on his head, and several places on his body. He blinked again, but everything stayed pitch black. He shivered and craned his head, trying to identify the limits of the space, but everything seemed to close up. His wing was broken. Grian couldn't fly.
