Summary
James Potter never thought he would be found guilty of a prank he didn't actually commit. When he realizes that Lily Evans may secretly be Hogwarts' greatest prankster, however, he finds he doesn't mind taking the fall for her, especially when she turns out to be unexpectedly enthusiastic in her gratitude. Stepping into 6th year, Lily Evans would like for everything to go back to normal. She would like her former best friend to go back to being her best friend, her sister not to hate her anymore (or at least hate her less), and for James Potter and his friends to go back to being loud and annoying, at a good distance away. At least then she might know how to deal with them.
Unfortunately, magic can only do so much. Time marches on at Hogwarts, and Lily has no choice but to keep up with it, trying to balance what feels like two different lives, and perhaps make a choice between them in the end.
Hogwarts in 1976-1978 told through Lily's point of view, with short chapters that are updated daily.
