My not at all serious take on Anakin getting away with having a real relationship with Padmé through the use of loopholes and no one asking too many questions.

“You know as well as I do that Skywalker is the only one that can fix his Star Destroyer,” Windu had said, something like fondness crinkling in the corners of his eyes. “And he’ll need help from his men to do that. The Republic isn’t going to fall while your battalions take a day or two to get everything up and running again.”
“Think of it as a surprise leave,” Ki-Adi-Mundi added and Obi-Wan had sighed, resigning himself, his old apprentice, and a few hundred soldiers to the monotony of vacation.
It was Fives that had voiced what they all were thinking, a bewildered, “What do regular people even do in their free time?” that was met by a chorus of noncommittal shrugs and grunts. They could probably figure it out, could venture out into the city and try their hand at normalcy for a single night, but, in the end, they’d decided on something much simpler: getting drunk.
Or: Anakin talks more than he meant to.

Summary
Every time the healers go on about how lucky he is, Anakin wants to laugh. His threshold of despair has always been fairly high – growing up as a slave on the dust ball of Tatooine will do that to a person – but even he’s having a hard time finding the good fortune in being limbless and scarred.
“It’s a miracle that you survived,” Master Che tells him before nearly every treatment, her last farewell before she dunks him in a bacta tank for Force knows how long. “A weaker man wouldn’t have.”
“Your burns are healing nicely,” one of the assistants says when he’s pulled from the tank again and again, groggy and tingling. “We should be able to fit you for your prosthetics soon.”
Or: Anakin gets injured a few years early and it saves the galaxy.

Summary
After losing his leg to Dooku, Anakin Skywalker is trying to rebuild a sense of normalcy within his life, starting with his overly rambunctious legion. But when he starts to get mysterious messages through the Force from beings claiming to be his 'kin', he realizes that even the dumpster fire of an everyday routine he considers 'normal' might be out out of reach for the foreseeable future. But at least the vode will always be at his side, right?
...Right?
