It's his fault, everything is his fault, No matter what he does he just seems to fuck everything up, it's almost funny in a depressing messed up way. If he hadn't been so insecure so narcissistic and arrogant none of this would have happened. But all the self reflection in the world won't change the past
The familiar ache of activity on his surface is becoming (understandably) increasingly apparent after all the events that have happened, and he is so very tired. It's selfish he knows but he just wants to closes eyes and shut off his consciousness for a moment so he doesn't have to face the reality of what's happening.
So he does
He sleeps and he sleeps and he sleeps
...
Then he crashes
Or Earth is being a depressed and tired little shit reflecting on all his past mistakes that led up to this moment. He falls asleep resulting in him crashing into Jupiter and waking up in the past

Summary
Intern is a new hire at a small animal hospital called Animal Medical Center, or AMC. There's something off about them that nobody can really place, and they often find Intern creepy. Intern knows they're an anomaly, but they also know their coworkers would kill them if they ever found out, even if they weren't your typical anomaly. Intern has to survive their coworkers and the patients every day, as well as survive off of coffee and chocolate, as they seem to be the only things that keep them sane. On top of it all Intern seems to never clock out of work...

Summary
Intern knew it was an anomaly. It knew what anomalies were. It had met a few just like it.
Still, it did not know what they did. And it just wanted to live like an animal. Given a new chance, it has the prime opportunity to prove it could function beyond being an anomaly. It'd become a functioning member of society, and of Animal Corporation.
Blessed with the chance to work at Animal Hospital, Intern knows it'll never take for granted this once-in-a-lifetime gift. It would become more than just the simple anomaly it was meant to be.
