Summary
Lois Lane is not obsessed with Superman. She has a very healthy mentality when it comes to the red caped hero—like anyone else would be in her shoes. It’s not even particularly her fault really. She never does things half-way— she has to look at all the angles—at all the variables. She’s a reporter—she’s meant to report—to research—-to verify her story, and it doesn’t hurt that nothing is more likely to put her name on the front page of the Daily Planet than if Superman’s name was also attached to it.
She would gladly be reporting about Lex Techs pollution of the west coast and the impact it will have on global climate change in just five years. She’d rather be writing about the complex issues of voting in the next election or how the school system is handling the newly fledged superpowered children populating the student body. She’d rather be writing about the spike in homelessness amongst teenagers in Gotham city and how that’s affected the foster system as a whole. Instead—despite her better judgment—- she’s writing about Superman’s lack of voice.
