The first problem: Narcissa Malfoy had started teaching at Hogwarts three years ago, and Hermione caught herself in liking the woman.
The second Problem is: Hermione started to feel something for the woman, she definitely should not feel, because the woman is married, and her teacher.
The third Problem is: Ron tries his way with Hermione, and he kinda sorta don’t get it…

What should someone do who is invited to a banquet, supposedly has a girlfriend and turns up alone? For someone like Hermione Granger, whose life is very often - even after ten years - haunted by the Daily Prophet... not an easy situation. It would have been easier for her to say that she had a friend and didn't come alone. And then... then of course she was on her own...
She knew the terms like 'love at first sight' and also... 'Love at first kiss...' but... did it really exist? Of course not... at least that was Narcissa's opinion...

Narcissa teaches at a university where she offers a creative writing course twice a week, which is attended by Hermione and others.
Hermione is actually just one of many students and one of the few students who attends the course. At least that's what she should be for Narcissa. Narcissa also kept telling herself that Hermione Granger was just a student... one of her best, and not an attractive young woman. She just couldn't think like that, even if Hermione was of age...Hermione's life couldn't be more complicated. At least not at the moment... she told herself every day that the situation with her boyfriend would get better. She had also been telling herself for a few weeks that her teacher was just a teacher, not an attractive woman. She couldn't find her attractive. Not just because she was her teacher, and because she was in a relationship... but because Narcissa Black was a woman.
