Summary
The year is 2043 and it has been almost half a century since the world discovered mutants. While some countries call themselves “Mutant Friendly”, no one really believes it. All it means that they are more secretive in finding ways to control their mutant populations. Knowledge like this is what made Jungkook keep silent about his powers when they revealed themselves. He keeps them a secret and continues to live his average life. But nothing can last forever, and several years later, Jungkook finds himself injured and fleeing from his home. He is taken in by a dysfunctional mutant group that calls themselves BTS and finds himself in a new world that is full of new opportunities and full of constant danger.

Erling considers him quietly for a long stretch. “It was my understanding that your people do not permit omegas to ride into battle, let alone lead armies. Or command their own fiefdom.”
His fingernails bite into his palm as sharply as his teeth bite into his own tongue.
“Garðrinn.”
Or, the one in which Jude is an alpha, until he is not. So, the king elects to strip him of his title and hand him over to the Vikings. And Erling.
He is given as a gift to Erling.

It’s been four months since Soap found out exactly how bad stims affect him. Four months since the 141 had the worst scare of their life, thanks to a miscommunication of epic proportions.
Four months, and Soap is finally, finally getting his personal space back. (Sort of. Not really. He doesn’t mind all that much.)
Four months, and Simmons is casually talking to him in the mess hall after training with the rooks, mentioning something about their old TO coming back to base, when Price, Ghost, and Gaz all freeze up.
Which is a little weird, because— well, for two reasons. One, because that’s just a weird reaction for the 141 to have in general. and two, because—
—because Soap doesn’t remember ever having this guy as his training officer.
