Really and truly, he did. They weren't human. They didn't know what was normal, and it was probably kind of alarming when he was too dizzy to walk straight. But a ninety-nine degree fever wasn't that bad, and he didn't really need all that rest, and he'd say that with his full chest to Mylo, to Varus, Hell, even the gods of Agathos themselves if he thought it would help. This didn't have to be a Big Deal.
The message, he thinks, got lost somewhere in transit.

Summary
Using his opponent's bent leg as a launching pad, he slammed his knee into the bottom of his jaw. Teeth clacked together in a mess of blood and spit. He stumbled again, enraged by the direct hit. He let out a loud growl as he charged forward recklessly. His fist managed to catch the other in the chin, making him bite his tongue. He danced to the side and spit out a mouthful of blood. He lifted his leg and slammed a powerful kick to the back of his knee.
The bulky figure crashed to the ground, and he was quickly snatched by the wrists, easily pinned to the floor of the bar, much to his surprise. He thrashed, but his hair was yanked up, and his head smashed into the floor. His vision went fuzzy and red, and he let out a long, low groan of pain. He went limp as his head spun, and he fully collapsed with a final exhale.
Someone else stepped up, and the agile figure hopped away, brushing the blood from his lips, wiping it on his pants. The third person felt the opponent's throat, then smacked him in the side of the face to see if he would wake. When he didn't, he stood, then gestured to the one still standing.
