“Is this…” he could hear Eddie hesitate. “Is this because of Bobby?”
If Buck had the capacity to laugh, he would. For once, he wasn’t an emotional disaster because of Bobby. He had an excuse this time.
Buck shuddered, and more tears fell, coating his cheeks and Eddie’s neck.
“No,” he croaked. He squeezed his hands tighter in Eddie’s shirt, as if begging him not to leave. “It’s because of the baby.”
“Robbie?” Eddie prodded, sounding concerned. “What’s wrong with Robbie?”
“Not Robbie.”
“Then who—”
“I’m pregnant,” Buck blurted out.
Or, the one where Buck finds out he's pregnant, confides to baby Han, has a breakdown, has to watch Eddie jump off an eighty-foot bridge with no regard to his own personal safety, and definitely doesn't lose his mind about it.

He lobs a bundle of fabric at Buck. Buck scrambles to catch it, then unfolds it to find a blue button-up, the version of their uniform that Eddie usually prefers.
He holds it out in front of him. On the label in the back of the neck, he sees Diaz written in Eddie’s spiky handwriting.
“I figured you wouldn’t have any spares left,” Eddie explains, “and the ones in that pile tend to run smaller, cause B-shift always forgets to do the laundry and we never have any larger sizes left because of them. This should still fit you, I think.”
