Summary
He was good at pretending and she knew it well, but part of her had hoped their closeness would have him struggling. She expected being assigned tasks that kept them as far as possible, but found herself paired with him more often than usual. He made sure to make eye contact with her, even though she’d pictured him avoiding her gaze. It was almost infuriating to see him unbothered by her presence, but Emily was a patient woman.
After Hotch catches her in her underwear, Emily can't stop thinking about him. She doesn't have a plan, but her improvising pays off.
