Harry Potter never gave much thought to how he would die. He had survived, faced enemies both human and inhuman he expected that he might find peace, perhaps a quiet life away from danger. He had assumed that would be the end of his story. He assumed wrong.

Silco takes a big sigh. “It’s not as if we have been in a position to even consider it before… and now… it’s not an option until we have Zaun.”
Vander visibly deflates at his words. Can he not see how Zaun is bigger than the two of them, how Zaun has to come first? Vander just nods in agreement, his heart not following the movement.
“Besides, I would make an awful father.” Silco adds conversationally.--
