Summary
"You owe me big time for this one, Laswell." You say softly into your earpiece as you weave about the tunnel, stepping over body after body you had downed, your sniper rifle strapped to your back, silenced pistol in one hand, knife in another. You'd been called in last minute to help out from the shadows while the actual team worked ahead.
"A favor for a favor." Laswell responds.
It was rare to get such an offer from her. You figured it was because she wanted this mission to go as smooth as possible. You'd helped her and gotten your hands plenty dirty like this before, nothing new. This time you'd been assigned to help watch their backs while they work their way through the chunnel. What you didn't expect was a near miss with none other than Makarov himself and then being all but drug by the scruff to work with 141 themselves directly. Fun!
(I didn't like the end of MW3 so I made this!)
(You may not use this work with AI for any reason)

Summary
When a covert mission near the U.S.–Mexico border goes sideways, Captain John Price is forced off the grid and stumbles; injured and alone, onto a remote horse ranch owned by a quiet, capable woman who wants nothing to do with the world he comes from. She doesn’t ask questions, and he doesn't offer answers but as days stretch longer and the line between guest and ghost begins to blur, both find themselves tangled in something far more dangerous than duty: trust, and the slow, burning pull of something neither of them expected.
A slow-burn, reader-insert romance where danger lingers on the horizon but so does desire.

You’re a small town copper with a ‘fixer-upper’ reputation. Your need to help those who don’t want to be helped leads you up to White Cross farm, with its crumbling walls and overgrown greenery it looks like it’s been lost to time. Forgotten.
The same can be said for John Price. A retired war veteran who’s hellbent on making your job ten times harder than it needs to be.
Price isn’t the only thing that’s hiding up at White Cross. The real question - which is more dangerous?

Summary
‼️ as of right now, this fic will be put on hiatus. i just need some time to get out of my writing funk. hopefully, ill be able to make more chapters for you guys soon ‼️
Humanity is sacred. It is when you ask your neighbor, “may I have this?”, or when you offer a sobbing child candy. It is in those little things, that are what make you human. It is when you are generous, or kind, and even when you are feeling emotions that are shunned by the world and brushed off as ‘evil’. In the military, you do not get to be human. And yet, you are. So what happens when you meet soldiers who share the same fears as you? When you recognize the looks on their faces, from seeing them in the mirror? As you form relationships, and experience the horrors of the military, you and your comrades slowly go mad.
How sad it is
To live in a world
Where humans are everywhere
And yet there is no humanity to be found.Or: task force 141 insert black male k9 specialist reader into their mess of a polycule, and along comes their complicated feelings and emotions… and the military
