Summary
It was one thing to know monsters existed. It was another thing entirely to grow up as part of the MacTavish clan, one of the oldest werewolf clans that existed. Being a MacTavish came with ‘capital E’ Expectations. They saw it as their duty to protect humanity from the things it couldn’t protect itself from. Things like vampires.
There was only one future for all MacTavish children - to be turned on their seventeenth birthday and join the clan in full, as werewolves themselves, to carry on that duty.
Or, there was supposed to be only one future for them. John had never been all that good at following rules, though. And while he wanted, desperately, to help people, he wanted to do it under his own power. To earn it, through more than just the happenstance of being born to a family of more-than-human creatures. So he did the only thing he could think to do.
He ran away.

Summary
Outgunned, outnumbered, split apart- and with the clouds spilling out their wet, freezing insides over the forest and on top off him.
What makes matters worse is the anxiety eating at the back of his nob, he's here with Ghost, somewhere around- he saw him retreating this way- At least he thinks he does- it's hard to see when it's pitch black and the second global deluge is threatening to drown us all.
Price and Gaz had scurried off quicker than he could turn his head, so now he's stuck here--
With Ghost, the alpha who's been haunting him since he joined the team- in a night as dark as black matter, surrounded by enemies.
His eyes strain, trying and failing to see what was ahead as he slowly steps backwards, leaves and twigs crunching under his weight with a disgusting wet sound.
Something closes around his waist, pulling him into a massive frame he can easily guess who it belongs to.
"Fuck up, ya spooky bastard!" Soap cursed breathlessly, limbs flailing wildly for only a second before he goes rigid.
Teeth sinking into the skin of his nape, threatening to pierce inside the warm flesh if he continues to fight.
