Don and Mi-na began cheering. Mark put down the bowl in his hands, glad their noise covered up the sound of the heavy thud. Elaine jabbed him in the side so he shoved the dish in her direction. Mark and Sung had been born less than a year apart, but he was still his little brother. His little brother who had just gotten his powers before him. They used to stay up late, talking about what they would accomplish together. What it would be like, to fly alongside their father.
Mark had always figured he would help Sung learn the ropes, or at the very least, they’d be learning together.

Nolan injured after his parents 18 birthday beatdown ends up meeting another viltrumite who is caring and kind despite those things being seen as weak and useless. Nolan and Debbie have to figure out a way to live their lives in peace without the ruthless traditions of viltrum hanging above their head.
