He thought maybe he’d be curled up on a platform or slumped against a pillar, but no, because Lloyd could do absolutely nothing halfway. Kai’s heart sank all the way to his toes.

    “You sure he’s alive?” Kai asked before he could think.

    “That’s what I said!” Arin cried as both girls shouted, “He’s obviously breathing!”
